Historic milestone at the Club, with the A team to Liga F; the B team to 2ª RFEF; the C team to 3ª RFEF; and the D team to Autonòmica Valenta
At the Estadio Antonio Puchades this Wednesday, VCF Femenino meet EDF Logroño on Matchday 20 of the 2020/21 Primera Iberdrola season.
José Bargues' side come into the game off the back of a 3-1 defeat away to Real Madrid, and lie ninth in the table with 21 points from 17 games.
Opponents EDF Logroño are currently 14th, with 13 points from the same amount of games. They were beaten by Barça Women 0-2 on Matchday 17.
One reason to be optimistic is VCF Femenino's strong home record at the Antonio Puchades, where they have accrued a third of their points this season. A total of four wins, two draws and two defeats have been taken at the stadium thus far.
The first match between the two teams this term, back in early November, ended in a 2-2 draw. Carla Bautista handed VCF Femenino the lead just one minute in, but the team needed an injury time equaliser from Jansen after two goals from Logroño's Jade Boho.
